Codex Parisino-petropolitanus

The Codex Parisino-petropolitanus is one of the oldest Quranic manuscripts. Most surviving leaves represent a Quran that is preserved in various fragments, the largest part of which (70 leaves) are kept in the Bibliothèque nationale de France, as BnF Arabe 328 (ab). Another 46 leaves are held at the National Library of Russia, and one each in the Vatican Library, and in the Khalili Collection. I will try to digitize the folios of this codex starting by Bnf328(ab).  This will be the first of a series until I cover all the folios. In each post I will first show the full transcribed text, then I show each line alone and compare it with the modern canonized Quran as published by King Saud Electronic Quran Project and an image of the line in the folio. I will note differences between the manuscript text and the modern text with red color, and when ever there is an underlined text, that means that the original in the manuscript was unreadable, finally text in orange means that I am not
